RETURNS POLICY
RETURNS & CREDIT POLICY
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund only for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure. If the failure is minor, we reserve our right to offer to repair only. We reserve the right to not offer a refund.
To be eligible for a refund you must:
• First, contact us at home@thestories.com.au
• We must receive the returned goods within 21 days of delivery
There is no refund for 'change of mind' or similar reasons.
Make sure you let us know your original order number, which items you have returned and any delivery reference numbers when you contact us. We will be able to advise the best way to return the product(s) and inform you of any further details required.
Returns are accepted within 15 days of the shipping date from our warehouse. Once you submit your intention to return via email to home@thestories.com.au, please ensure you post your parcel within 14 days or your return request will expire.
For Change of Mind returns, and to receive a credit note, items must be unwashed, unused and in original packaging with tags intact
Please allow 3-5 business days for your return to be processed once it arrives back to our warehouse
If your Return arrives in a condition that does not meet our Returns Policy, we will be required to reject your Return. Our Customer Care Team will be in touch if this is the case.
Faulty items
If you believe an item you have purchased from us is faulty, we will need to contact the Manufacturer for assessment to determine whether or not you are entitled to an exchange, refund or repair. We and the Manufacturer, reserve the right to inspect the unit, and may need you to send the item to the Manufacturer. If the item is found to be faulty due to manufacturers fault, you will be furnished with a repair, exchange, or refund (as determined by the Manufacturer under the guidelines of the Australian Consumer Law) - shipping cost will also be refunded if the item is found to be faulty.
You will need to send the item back to us at your own cost, if the item is found to be faulty, shipping cost will be reimbursed.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are faulty/damaged or lost during transit. Shipping cost is also refunded.
